You're Anointed For The Next Place

1 Kings 19, Elijah finds himself leaving Mount Carmel after a visible demonstration of God's power against the prophets of Baal.

In this, not only was God's predominance fortified, but Elijah's authority as one of God's true prophets was revealed.

One would believe that after such an undisputed win, Elijah's confidence would be at an all time high but that was not the case. The fear of Jezebel's retaliation drove the prophet into the wilderness. After his prayer had been answered, after heaven responded with fire, after God openly affirmed him in the presence of his enemies, he laid against the Juniper Tree and pleaded that God would give him an escape from the weight of his future by way of death.

Geographically, Elijah was between two mountains, Mount Carmel and Mount Horeb, BUT spiritually he was between two victories. I can see that his distress was with the need to be anointed for the next place. Elijah was confronted with the truth that there is a responsibility that comes with victory. "God I'm thankful for what you've done, but if your not going to anoint me for what's next, then kill me!"

I want to prophesy to everyone that seems to be stuck in the valley between two victories. I've been compelled to tell you the same word the angel of The Lord told Elijah.ARISE AND PREPARE FOR THE JOURNEY AHEAD, FOR THERE IS A CAKE ON THE FIRE!

The cake represents Gods anointing and provision that will sustain you until your next victory. Without question you are going to win but before you even get there The Lord is going to anoint you again!

You've been called for business or to preach, sing, write, prophesy, influence, but you can't die here. You've already been anointed for the next place!

Isaiah 40:31 (AMP)

But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] Will gain new strength and renew their power; They will lift up their wings [and rise up close to God] like eagles [rising toward the sun]; They will run and not become weary, They will walk and not grow tired.
